Our Purpose
The United Methodist Men are a supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ in their lives and to engage in Christian service.
Activities
The group meets for a prayer breakfast in the Fellowship Hall the first Sunday of each month, except for July and August.
We hold fund raising activities, whose primary goal is to assist worthy causes. Recently, UMM members have helped to build houses for Habitat for Humanity, ring bells for the Salvation Army, donate to the Domestic Violence Shelter, and assist with various other social concerns.
Schedule
It is a good idea to arrive at about 7:55 a.m. since we try to begin the breakfast promptly at 8:00 a.m. We eat until about 8:25 a.m. Then there is a brief business meeting and devotions, which takes about 10 minutes. The main address (program) usually lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, and the meeting adjourns between 9:00 and 9:15.
